With a variety of peels, each with a unique complex of ingredients, programs of treatments can be customized to target specific skin concerns whether it’s aging, pigmentation, acne, rosacea, and more.

How The procedure works

Chemical peels cause intentional damage to the epidermis and dermis with the goal of stimulating new cells to improve skin texture and tone. An acid is applied to the skin to lower the PH, which loosens the connections between dead skin cells, including exfoliation and stimulating new cell growth. This process causes superficial layers of dead skin to peel off, revealing a smoother and more radiant complexion.

What The Procedure Feels Like

During the procedure, the skin will be cleansed and degreased. The peel will be gently applied to the skin. The number of layers is determined by professional assessment. The patient will feel some warmth and mild to moderate stinging and tingling. Depending on the type of peel being used, the peel will either be neutralized or the patient will go home with it on. Immediately after the session, skin will look more radiant!

Will there be visible peeling?

The degree of peeling varies on the strength and number of layers used and the nature of the individual’s skin. It is normal for some individuals to have some peeling and normal for others to not experience any peeling. If peeling doesn’t take place it does not mean the peel wasn’t effective.

If peeling doesn’t take place, does it mean the peel wasn’t effective?

Peeling of the dead skin layers can be macroscopic, meaning you can see the peeling, or microscopic, meaning peeling is occurring on a cellular level, but the skin is not visually flaking. Therefore, you can have an effective chemical peel without actually seeing your skin peeling.

number of Treatments

Peels are versatile and can vary between individuals depending on concerns and skin goals. Typically, 6 treatments are recommended for corrective goals and spaced approximately 2-4 weeks apart. Maintenance sessions are recommended every 6-8 weeks.

What to Expect Immediately After Treatment

The skin is initially pink and tingly and more sun-sensitive as the epidermis renews itself. After the peeling takes its course, usually 3-7 days after treatment, new and healthier skin resurfaces resulting in a smoother and brighter complexion.

PEELS AVAILABLE

GLOW PEEL

Hyperpigmentation, Aging, Dehydrated, Acne, Normal, Dry & Oily

The Glow Peel is a multi-purpose peel containing both AHA & BHA acids. The Glow peel is a resurfacing and medium depth peel treatment that combines the powers of salicylic acid (7%), lactic acid (7%) and resorcinol (7%). The structures of these acids are both water and oil soluble therefore have the capabilities to target multiple depths of the skin superficially and deeply. This peel is a great option for reducing hyperpigmentation, diminishing fine lines, building collagen and for glowing skin.

BHA 20 PEEL

Acne, Congestion

The BHA 20 Peel is an acne reducing peel and contains 20% salicylic acid and is naturally derived from willow bark. Salicylic is one of your acne’s biggest enemies. Unlike benzoyl peroxide and other medicated topical, salicylic acid does not irritate or dry the skin, due to its anti-inflammatory properties it helps reduce redness and inflammation. Salicylic acid is more oil-soluble so it can penetrate into the pores of the skin. This is a great option for reducing acne, blackhead and whiteheads and dissolving debris that clogs pores, resulting in clearer and brighter skin.

RENEW 30 PEEL

Hyperpigmentation, Fine lines, Dull Skin, Sensitive Skin, Rosacea

Radiant 30 is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) resurfacing peel and contains 30% lactic acid and is naturally derived from sugar cane and beet sugar. Lactic acid is a true multi-tasker and is water-soluble. It penetrates more superficially, polishing and exfoliating the top layers of the skin and has better moisture retaining capability to keep the skin hydrated. This peel is effective for increasing cell turnover, reducing fine lines and pigmentation and holding moisture. A great option for patients who want a light peel or has sensitive skin.
